The last and final phase of Oakwood Estates has only thirteen lots remaining. Meyer Brant Custom Homes has sold most of the lots in Unit 18 of Oakwood Estates. Only three remain in Unit 18 of the neighborhood. One of the remaining lots is one of the larger lots left in Oakwood Estates. The lots range from $60k-$85K and there are still a couple lots with a view left and corner lots that are great for a side entry garage remaining. Oakwood Estates is located off Loop 337 and right up the hill from Landa Park. To get to the subdivision turn on to Oakwood Blvd. from Loop 337. The new and final unit of Oakwood Estates subdivision is currently being developed. There will be 36 lots in the last unit 19 of Oakwood. Some of the new lots back up to a green belt area with lots of mature oak trees. The size of the lots vary, but most are between 1/4 and 1/3 of an acre. The last unit will have two cul-de-sacs and no other entrance or exit to the neighborhood will be added. There will be underground electric, city water and city sewer, and natural gas. Oakwood Estates is a very quiet, peaceful, and private neighborhood. The neighborhood is in a great location right up the hill from Landa Park. The area is in the NBISD school district and is a very family friendly neighborhood. There is no homeowners association or dues. There is very little land left inside the loop and the home values in Oakwood have been steadily increasing. Once the plat of the lots is finalized we will be posting it on our website. We are hoping the lots will be ready for sale December 2013 or January 2014. Meyer Brant Custom Homes designs each home in-house to be custom for each lot and we try to work around oak trees if at all possible. We design each home to be best suited for the lot and the client’s needs we also try to keep the design efficient and cost effective. Meyer Brant Custom Homes has another spec home coming soon to Oakwood Estates in New Braunfels. The new home will be at the end of Acorn Drive at 636 Acorn Drive, just up the hill from Landa Park. It is a fantastic home site because it is a very flat and there are three mature oak trees on the property. Meyer Brant Custom Homes has designed a very efficient 2,301 square foot one story plan for the site. It is an open concept floor plan with split bedrooms. Meyer Brant Custom Homes is pleased to announce that the home of Meredith and Kyle Brant at 604 Hannahs Run will be part of the New Braunfels Republican Women 2011 Christmas Tour of Homes. The home of Meredith and Kyle Brant has an old world European style with lots of unique touches. The Brant’s home is also a “green” energy efficient home that includes tank-less water heaters, spray foam insulation, Low E vinyl windows, re-purposed antique pieces and ceiling tins, and many other features. The home is a two story and has an antique furniture pieces that have been re-purposed in the home. The Brant’s covered three antiques into that room vanities and their kitchen pantry is a converted one hundred year old armoire. There are antique ceiling beams in the family room, study and master bedroom. The antiques brick and an antique claw foot tub. The Brant’s home was featured in articles Sunday November 27th in the New Braunfels Herald Zeiung and the San Antonio Express Spaces section. On the day of the tour, tickets will cost $15 and can be purchased at any tour home.

This is an old post. We now have two children under two years old and no longer show our house.
We are currently building the Brant’s personal home at the end of Acorn Drive. This home will also be a model home for Meyer Brant Custom Homes so that potential clients can see a completed project and the quality of a Meyer Brant Home. The home will have many unique features that give it character, such as ceiling tins, wood beams, vanities , claw foot tub and brick that are all antique and have been reclaimed. As with all our floor plans it is a new design to fit the lot and the great oak tree in the backyard. The home has many green features such as open cell spray foam insulation, variable speed AC units with two stage condensors, vinyl windows, ERV system, and tankless hot water heaters. The future model should be completed in August and will be available for viewing by appointment. Feel free to come by while the home is under construction as well.
We have completed the home we were building in Landa Park Estates on Mulberry. This home has some unique features as well. Such as custom made metal galvalume sliding doors, wood paneling on all the walls, metal galvalume walls in the bath and a tin countertop in the kitchen. The home we are building in Waggener Ranch is coming along. The tile roof was just completed and the home is going to have a very Tuscan look. We have enjoyed the hill country views of Waggener Ranch and the wild game that lives in the subdivision. There are still lots available in Waggener Ranch, Oakwood Estates and Vintage Oaks. Meyer Brant Custom Homes has started off the new year by beginning construction on four new homes. We have already sold our spec home in Oakwood Estates at 510 Williams Way. The new spec home will be completed this summer and is still available. The spec home is 2,740 square feet air conditioned and all on one floor. It is a three bedroom, 2 bath, with study, two dining areas and it has a great open floor plan with large kitchen and family room. Meredith and Kyle sold their personal home at 411 Acorn Cove and they have started building their new home on Hannahs Run. Meyer Brant also has a home in Landa Park Estates under construction at 1091 Mulberry that is very unique because it is on a lot that is only 25′ wide. The home has many “green building” features such as spray foam insulation, tank-less hot water heaters, metal roof, a ductless air conditioning system, and vinyl windows. We also have a Tuscan style home in Waggener Ranch. The lot we are building on is five acres with hill country views and aoudads and axis deer roam the gated subdivision.
We still have a few lots left in Oakwood Estates, but they are going quickly. Contact us for more information on which lots are still available. We still have lots available with views of the green belt and mature oaks on Williams Way, and a few lots left on Acorn Drive that back up to acreage property. There are a small number of lots left inside Loop 337 and Oakwood Estates is a great neighborhood that is almost completely developed. We also have lots available in Vintage Oaks and one on Laurel Trail.
More people are getting interested in building “green” and having a more energy efficient home. Kyle is a certified green professional and can help you design the home to reduce your monthly utilities greatly. We completed a “green home” a year ago in River Chase. The owners are very satisfied by how low their bills are and how comfortable their house feels.

Despite the slowdown in the housing market and economy in the last years, we have still been busy building custom homes in the New Braunfels area. With interest rates the lowest they have been in years and the availability of our best subcontractors, now is a great time to build.
We purchased twenty lots in the latest phase of Oakwood Estates and we have already sold half. Oakwood Estates is unlike any other neighborhood in the area and there are limited lots like this available inside Loop 337. It has a tranquil hill country atmosphere with lots of oak trees. To get here — Turn onto Oakwood Blvd. from Loop 337, then turn left on Acorn Drive. The lots start at the end of Acorn Drive. We love the area so much that we even call it home. We also have lots available in Vintage Oaks and Trails of Mission Ridge.
Our in house design team will design a preliminary plan at no cost to show how the house will fit on the lot you are interested in with its trees. Our custom plans are efficient and designed to fit within the budget you desire. We will build on our lot or yours. We are currently building a spec home that is for sale in Oakwood Estates. The home is being built on a corner lot with oak trees in the front and back. The home is 3,561 square feet air conditioned. It has four bedrooms, a study, three and a half baths, a game room, and also a three car garage.

Meyer Brant Custom Homes has many premium hill country lots available in Oakwood Estates (located two blocks from Landa Park), also in Vintage Oaks subdivision, and in Mission Trail area, all in New Braunfels, TX. There is a spec home for sale in Mission Heights, a gated cul-de-sac which is located at the end of Twin Oaks, and has spectacular views of New Braunfels.
