The home of Meredith and Kyle Brant has an old world European style with lots of unique touches. The Brant’s home is also a “green” energy efficient home that includes tank-less water heaters, spray foam insulation, Low E vinyl windows, re-purposed antique pieces and ceiling tins, and many other features. The home is a two story and has an antique furniture pieces that have been re-purposed in the home. The Brant’s covered three antiques into that room vanities and their kitchen pantry is a converted one hundred year old armoire. There are antique ceiling beams in the family room, study and master bedroom. The antiques brick and an antique claw foot tub. The tour features six homes in New Braunfels and the Faust Hotel will be the refreshment stop. The self guided tour will be Saturday, December 3rd from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Advance tickets cost $12 and can be purchased in New Braunfels at Johnson Furniture, The Christmas Shoppe, Retreat Day Spa, the Greater New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce, The Crossing, Dancing Pony and Stepping Stones. On the day of the tour, tickets will cost $15 and can be purchased at any tour home.
